Write Something on the Wall...

Hi Marc, He had a disc with name and our telephone number on it, and it was only when he was lost that my son told me that Louie had ripped it off during the summer. I agree that a chip is the answer and we will have the vet place one. He will be 11 years old in May, but he is still as sprightly as ever, though lately he spooks much quicker than before, particularly with fireworks or thunder. Mary just got back this morning from Boston to hear of the saga - I didn't tell her that he was missing whilst she was away!
Anyhow, many thanks again for your kindness, it won't be forgotten and hopefully we will get a chance in the future to be able to return a favour (but hopefully not with a missing dog!)

Hi guys as the owner of 2 springers who frequently go for there own walks we know what it is like. Tags and microchips have been fantastic! (even write your number on the inside of his collar) One thing Caroline didn't say to your is that last night there wast some Thunder and he jumped out and I didn't realise he was gone for an hour, I found him outside Ella's ( he has good taste in food!).
Anyway Lovely dog with a lovely nature (as springers do) delighted we found the owners so quickly.
Cheers
Marc & Caroline!e?
PS forgot to ask how old is he?

Dear M Patton,
I think that the dog you have found is 'Louis' and was lost on Friday night. We live in Howth and someone let off fireworks on Friday evening and our dog bolted. We can be contacted at 8390842 or 0872 807053. Hopefully, John McDonald
