No, my dog was returned. She does still wander a bit, possibly as far as the beach, but has a new tag with address etc to make sure she is not picked up as a stray again. She can find her own way home from her normal stomping ground...but thanks.

Hello, a small dog which almost matches your description ran up to me this morning (22nd Sept) as I was waiting for my bus. Very friendly, though a bit nervous, no collar, very well kept. I was going to bring it to Pearse St Garda Station but it ran away from me. I was at the bus stop on Pearse St opposite the Trinity Inn pub. To be honest the dog didn't seem 17, but the rest of the description was very similar. Reminded me of a fox.
